Giving feedback

Tried ObsidianLog? We’d genuinely like to know how it went, even briefly, good or bad. Use the “Tried ObsidianLog? Tell us about it” template. This one isn’t just for problems. If you got partway through a tutorial and got stuck, or something was confusing rather than broken, that’s worth reporting here too, even without a precise, reproducible bug.

Reporting a bug

Something didn’t work the way it should have? Use the Bug report template. Include what you ran, what you expected, and what happened instead. obsidianlog --version and your OS/platform help a lot. If you already opened a feedback report for the same problem, it’s fine to open a bug report too and link it from the feedback one, they serve different purposes.

Suggesting a feature

Have an idea or enhancement you’d like to see? Use the Feature request template.

Reporting a security vulnerability

Please report vulnerabilities privately instead of through a public issue. See Security Model for how.

Questions and discussion

GitHub Discussions is the place for open-ended questions about ObsidianLog itself that aren’t quite a bug, a feature request, or feedback.
