ObsidianLog is long-term, tamper-evident log archival on Sia. It’s encrypted before it ever leaves your machine, compressed, and hash-chained so you can prove later that nothing was altered. It’s in active beta right now, and we’d genuinely love for you to try it.

2. Pick what to test

Start here: local test

Recommended first test. Local backend only, no Sia account needed. About 5 minutes.

Want to test Sia?

Connect to the real Sia network and archive for real. Allow 15–20 minutes for browser approval and the first write.

Already using Vector?

Ship real logs through Vector into ObsidianLog. About 10 minutes.

Coming back a second time?

Test config repair, key rotation, and adding Sia to an existing setup.
Use only sample logs while testing. Never put recovery phrases, encryption keys, API keys, full config files, or real log content into a public issue.

What counts as a completed beta test?

A completed test is a tutorial run through to its stated final check. For the local, Sia, and Vector paths, that means retrieving the sample log with query and confirming the hash chain with verify. If you get stuck before that point, that is still valuable feedback: tell us where you stopped and what you expected to happen. For the Sia tutorial, the first network write can take several minutes after browser approval. That delay is expected. Please include the time you saw in your feedback.
